I want to begin by saying that I received this product complimentary to test through Influenster’s VoxBox program. How cool is that? Before I begin my review, I want to give you some of the benefits of these nails that comes straight from the product packaging. Lots of different colors, zebra print, leopard print, etc. I received the hot pink zebra print which was VERY cute and trendy! Now, on to my personal review. When I first saw the packaging, I was very impressed. The nails just looked so fun, shiny, and trendy! Zebra print is one of my favorites and I thought these sounded like they would be very easy to apply. Just peel, press, and go! I trimmed my nails beforehand and cleaned them really well, too. (I would DEFINITELY recommend doing that before you attempt to apply these. Dry them well, too!!) I applied the nails as instructed and within minutes, I had super cute looking nails! They looked great and were very shiny. They felt a little weird at first because I never used a product like this before. It took some getting used to but I received so many compliments on them. Mine lasted 6 days which seemed pretty reasonable. I am rough on my nails and am constantly breaking or snagging them on something. These would be great for a special occasion or just a fun night out on the town. Overall, I was very pleased with this product and will definitely be buying them again. Purex Triple Action liquid laundry detergent - WOW!
I received a full-sized bottle of Purex Triple Action liquid laundry detergent to try out from Purex Insiders. (they are awesome!) I am going to start by saying that I was never a big user of Purex brand detergents or laundry products before. I just didn't think they would compare to my trusted Tide. I had been using Tide for YEARS and always had pleasant experiences. I received this Purex detergent in the Mountain Breeze scent. I opened the bottle and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing, crisp scent. I typically choose similar scents when buying Tide. I like my clothing to smell crisp & clean so this scent was perfect!
I already had a load of clothes that was ready to be washed - my husband's work clothes. He has a pretty physical job so his clothes, especially his work pants, get VERY dirty. Grease is very hard to get out of clothing. I almost always have to pretreat any grease spots with a pretreater BEFORE putting in the wash. I completely forgot to do that and just dumped everything in the wash with the new Purex Triple Action detergent. Right away, the scent in the water hit me and I was very impressed! I LOVED the scent! The detergent claims that it will leave clothes brighter, whiter, and cleaner so I was excited to see how it would actually perform. I closed the lid and went off to do other things... the scent of the detergent filled up my entire downstairs! Normally, I can only smell detergents in my laundry room but this one made the entire downstairs smell good. I was loving that!
About 40 minutes later, the clothes were done. I opened the lid and could still smell the detergent on the clothing. Right away, I remembered that I forgot to pretreat my husband's work pants. I frantically dug through the wet clothes to find a pair. I just knew that I was going to have to rewash them. I found a pair and when I held them up, I saw that the grease stains were GONE! The detergent actually did an awesome job at removing tough stains. The clothes were left smelling fresh & clean and they really WERE squeaky clean! I didn't feel any slimy residue left on the clothes either which I have experienced in the past with some other brands of detergent. Since that first load, I also learned that this detergent is able to remove chocolate, tomato sauce, oil, AND wine stains without me having to pretreat them first. That is impressive, especially the tomato sauce stains. Those can be very tough to get out! I would give this detergent 5 stars. The scent is great, the cleaning power is wonderful, and it's just as convenient to buy as my Tide. I can buy it at the same stores and the price is actually a little lower! It's a win win!
