We used to sit together, just the two of us, and read for HOURS! It was something special just for us and I can even remember ALL of my favorite books. I still have them and just a few weeks ago, my Mom and I were looking through them. :) It is memories like these that really mean the world to me. I love you Mom and I wish you the happiest of Mother's Days as you certainly deserve it!

I actually LOVED this product. It worked REALLY well at removing those tough shower/tub stains. We don't have any tile in our bathrooms so I couldn't try it on that. However, I did clean both of our tubs/showers where mildew ALWAYS seems to sneak up on us even though we clean them regularly! There is caulking around the faucets in both tubs that gets kind of gross. I sprayed this product on there and it got rid of ALL of the yucky spots! The smell is a little strong so I decided to open the windows in the bathroom. I didn't find the smell to be overpowering or intolerable. I was just going to be doing other cleaning in there so I thought the window would help air it out. The bathroom smelled VERY clean after using this product and our showers both looked shiny and spotless! I LOVED the gel consistency and thought it was much more effective than regular liquid spray cleaners. I will definitely be adding this one to my cleaning routine! :)

Rod Stewart - Time Album Review

Rod Stewart has spent four decades being a rock star, three being a parent, and has a new album's worth of rollicking stories to tell. Time is his first album of new material in almost 20 years (and his hairstyle hasn't changed one bit!) Before I begin, I want to let everyone know that I was sent a copy of this CD from One2One Network to give my review of it. All opinions here are still my own and not influenced by my campaign participation in any way. With that being said, let's talk about the CD! :)



Time, released on May 7th 2013, marks Stewart's long-awaited return to his songwriting roots and features 12 tracks, 11 of which he wrote and produced. The album was born from a burst of inspiration that came while Rod was reviewing his life for his recent memoir. Rod rediscovered his voice as a songwriter and rekindled his gift for writing the honest, nerve-touching narratives that have been the cornerstone to the first three decades of his career. Since 1991, Stewart the lyricist and melodist behind such staples as "Tonight's the Night", "You Wear It Well", "You're in My Heart", "The Killing of Georgie" and the indelible "Maggie May", had simply lost his songwriting muse. But, beginning in 2011, during the period he began working on what would become his internationally best-selling autobiography, Rod, it returned.

"Suddenly ideas for lyrics were piling up in my head," he says. "Next thing I knew, I had a song called 'It's Over' about divorce and separation. And now I was getting up in the middle of the night and scrambling for a pen to write things down, which has never happened to me. I finished seven or eight songs very quickly and I still wasn't done, and it became apparent that I would eventually have a whole album of material to record."

Along with the release of Time, Stewart is set to embark on the European leg of his Live the Life tour on June 1st, while American dates with Steve Winwood will kick off October 17th.

I actually thought that this was a really great album. I have listened to Rod Stewart's music for several years, on and off, and I was quite surprised and impressed with this album. There weren't ANY songs that I disliked. My favorite songs were probably "Pure Love" and "Can't Stop Me Now" because they were so incredibly real and heartfelt. If you are a fan of Rod Stewart's and had been disappointed that he had given up on songwriting, CHECK OUT THIS ALBUM! You won't be disappointed. I think it is one of his best albums YET and feel that he is back, maybe even better than before!

Michael Bublé - To Be Loved Album Review

Everyone's favorite Canadian crooner is back again, finding his harmony while making his way through the American songbook (and looking oh-so dapper in a suit)! Before I begin, I want to let everyone know that I was sent a copy of this CD from One2One Network to give my honest review of it on my blog. All opinions here are still my own and not influenced by my campaign participation in any way. With that being said, let's get into the review! :)

"I want to take you on a wonderful journey about love —all different kinds of love," Michael says. "The album swings big time: it rocks, it’s soulful, it’s happy, sometimes a little sad. It’s romantic, it’s yummy, and it’s heartfelt." To Be Loved, out now, finds the Grammy winner covering songs by Frank Sinatra, the Bee Gees, Jackson 5, Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, and more. In the mix of golden standards are four original songs co-written by Bublé, dipping into his personal life for inspiration.

Overall, I thought this was a good album. My favorite song was "It's a Beautiful Day". Some of the other songs weren't really my style but there was a nice mix of both newer and older-inspired tracks. I have been told by several people that I talked to about the album that they thought it was very romantic and great for "special" nights, lol! I let a few friends borrow the CD and the overall vibe was positive. If you are a Michael Bublé fan, you will probably enjoy the CD. If you aren't that familiar with his music, listen to a few samples on Amazon and get an idea of what he is all about. I doubt you will be disappointed!

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I'll say, I am impressed with how long it lasts. There is still a lot of product left in the "cage." When you flush, you can smell the product and it does seem to do a good job freshening the bowl and keeping it clean. We have hard water so those pesky hard water stains can be a pain! Since using this product, we haven't noticed ANY! After each flush, you can tell the product is working. For one thing, you can smell it. However, you also see some bubbles in the water. I wasn't sure if I had it down low enough when I first installed it but after seeing the cleaner bubbles in the water, I knew I was good to go!

The only downfall is the product's sturdiness. Don't get me wrong, it was VERY easy to install. I just thought it was a little flimsy feeling. The part that actually clips onto the toilet didn't really "clip" into place. It wouldn't lay flat which is why I didn't think it would hold up. I kept thinking that there wasn't ANY way this would stay in place for an entire month but I was definitely wrong. It hasn't budged. Here is a pic of the product in action! LOL As you can see, it is pretty discreet and not something that sticks out too much.



It did what it was supposed to and has kept our toilet really clean! I can't complain. For less than $2, I will definitely be buying this product again. I'll probably get one for every bathroom. If it can prevent me from having to clean as often, it is okay by me!! :) Thank you Soft Scrub for the opportunity to try this product!
