I shared the samples with my group so we all got to try all the different flavors. The reviews were mixed. Some people liked it, others didn't. I am used to the taste of diet beverages because that is pretty much all that I drink. Maybe I just don't notice that aftertaste that everyone else seems to taste. There is a slight aftertaste with Zevia but to me, it is very mild. Several of my group members commented that they liked the flavor at first but were then hit with a medicinal/aspirin-like aftertaste. Everyone has different preferences but I thought the product was tasty and something that I would definitely buy in the future. My favorite was the Ginger Root Beer! YUM! I didn't notice any aftertaste with that one. :) This is certainly a healthier alternative to sugary, calorie packed sodas. If you or your kids love that bubbly goodness but don't want to pack on the calories and sugar, give Zevia a try! :)

So now that you know a little more about these products and the company, I am sure you wondering, "How do they TASTE?" I wasn't familiar with this brand before the sampling opportunity and didn't know what to expect. The products were all so delicious. I loved the crispy texture of the cookies. My absolute favorite was the Chocolate Chip Love ginny Minis. Oh my goodness, they were so good! I loved that they came in single serve bags, too. That way, I could indulge myself without pigging out. ;) You could really taste the different ingredients, too, and really pick them out - the oatmeal, raisins, nuts, etc. Everything was just SO good! The baking mixes were a wonderful addition, too. I prepared all of the items for my group meeting and they turned out so well! My favorite was the Peace Love & Crumble Muffin. They were just as delicious as they look on the front of the package. These are a wonderful alternative for those that are interested in organic products. I would definitely recommend them!

It had the perfect strength, too. The fragrance lingered on my skin but it wasn't sickening sweet or overpowering. The lather was rich and plentiful, spread easily over my skin, and most importantly, rinsed easily AND completely! Using this product was a nice escape from my everyday stress. It was like stepping into my own personal tropical paradise. I haven't seen it in many stores yet but I was able to find it at Walmart Supercenter so if you are interested in trying it, that might be a good place to start. :)

I received this product to try a few weeks ago and it hasn't lost its fragrance ONE BIT! I received a sample box of this product to try from Purex Insiders and when it was delivered, I opened our front door and could smell the product through the cardboard box, lol. Needless to say, if you don't like a strong fragrance, you probably won't like this product. I will be honest, I'm not a big fan of lavender so at first, I was thinking, "Yikes! I really don't want my whole house, all of our laundry, and everything else smelling like this!" While it still isn't my favorite fragrance, I can't say that I dislike it either. If given the choice, I would definitely buy the Fresh Spring Waters fragrance because it is more clean & refreshing while the Lavender Blossom is a lot more floral than I typically like.

I will say, though, that these dryer sheets do an AWESOME job of reducing static cling and leaving a long-lasting fragrance on your laundry. I have done all kinds of loads - clothing, pet beds, towels, bedding, you name it! Everything was left with a nice fragrance and it really does last a LONG time! It also doesn't leave any residue on my laundry which is critical. Some fabric softeners and/or dryer sheets leave that slick feeling on your laundry and to me, that isn't acceptable. My clothes feel soft, smell fresh, and are static free!

I have also been using these dryer sheets in other areas of the house. We have a small garbage can that we line with bags for scooping the cat box. I keep one dryer sheet on the bottom of the can underneath the plastic bag to prevent it from smelling bad. I also stuff the used dryer sheets in my drawers and closet for an extra boost of fragrance. :) I would definitely buy this product but would opt for the Fresh Spring Waters fragrance. That is just a matter of personal preference, though. The product WORKS fantastically and does exactly what I need it to do! Yet another great product added to the Purex line!

Gutsy Chewy Product Review - very impressed!

I was selected to try this product, Gutsy Chewy, from Moms Meet. I was sent product samples to try out and review on my blog. I couldn't have been chosen to try a product that was any MORE appropriate for me. Everyone that knows me knows that I am always having digestive upsets and issues. Nothing major but it seems that so many foods don't agree with me any more. Needless to say, I was actually EXCITED to try this product! Other products work but they can either take a long time to start working or taste terrible. (or both!) I was intrigued by this concept and couldn't wait to try it!

This is a picture of the Gutsy Chewy packaging. I love that it is so portable and small enough to fit in my purse without taking up a ton of space. You can fit a tube of these just about anywhere which makes them super convenient.

Now on to the good stuff... what IS Gutsy Chewy exactly? This product description is taken directly from the Gutsy Chewy website. Where else to get all of the juicy facts about the product? It gives you all of the basics in a nutshell!

So, what did I actually think of Gutsy Chewy? I loved it! I have used several tablets over the past few weeks and was impressed with how fast and effective they are. The taste is very pleasant and not chalky. The problem I have with some products such as Tums and Rolaids is that I can't stand the taste. To me, they are just like eating fruit flavored chalk sticks. Gutsy Chewy has a nice texture and a very pleasant Wildberry or Citrus flavor. (your choice) I also really like that the tablets are scored so that you can cut them if you only wanted to take 1/2 of one instead of a whole one. I have done this, too, and they are very easy to cut. No crumbling whatsoever! I just put the other half back in the container to use on another occasion. Here is what one of the tablets looks like close up:

They are larger tablets but since you don't have to swallow them whole, it isn't a problem at all. I even let my Dad try some because he is worse than me when it comes to digestive problems. He liked both flavors and said they worked quickly, usually within 10-15 minutes. For me, I could normally start feeling relief in around 10 minutes. That is perfect for those occasions when you are chowing down on your favorite foods and then awhile later start to regret it. Yikes! Gutsy Chewy to the rescue! I would definitely recommend this product and hope to see more products get introduced to this line in the future. :) Thank you for giving me the opportunity to sample this product and share the word on how awesome it is!

I have been using Purex products for several years now and am rarely disappointed. While this product didn't disappoint me, it didn't really blow me away either. I think the main reason is that I rarely have issues with color bleeding in the wash anyway. This would be great if that was a problem that you frequently experienced but I honestly didn't notice any difference in my clothing after using this products several times. The fact that you still have to wash new clothing items (especially jeans) separately kind of threw me for a loop because I assumed that you could just throw everything in there together. It is still a good product but when you take out the "no color bleeding" aspect (since that isn't a problem I typically have), the detergent is pretty ordinary. It still has a nice fresh, clean scent and got my laundry squeaky clean. I wouldn't expect any less when using a Purex product! :) However, I probably wouldn't buy it again in the future because I didn't really notice any major differences. I would opt for one of the detergents that had a more appealing scent or other benefit that was more relevant to me.
