Okay, I will admit, before I was sent a bottle of Soft Scrub to try, I really wasn't THAT familiar with the Soft Scrub line of products. I have been buying Clorox and Lysol products for years and just never really tried many other products. When I first received the product, the first thing that I did was flip open the cap and smell the fragrance. VERY impressed with the fresh, lemon scent. It wasn't at all artificial and actually smelled like it was made with freshly squeezed lemon juice. I don't want to bash other brands but there was a product that I bought from Lysol and the fragrance was called Lemon Breeze. It was HORRIBLE! I know you will laugh but to me, it smelled like candied cat pee. Yes, cat pee. It had a VERY artificial lemon flavored candy smell (sweet & sugary) and left behind a bad smell that reminded me of cat urine. I didn't like it at ALL! When I received the Soft Scrub product, I wasn't sure what to expect in the way of smell so I was quite pleased with it. The fragrance is VERY important when deciding what to buy because who wants to clean with something that stinks?! Here is a pic of the exact product that I was sent. Love the bottle!
I will also admit that I do normally opt for spray bottles as they are a little more convenient and easy to use. The packaging of this bottle of Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath & Kitchen Cleasner wasn't at all difficult to open so I didn't mind that it wasn't in spray form. I tried it on my kitchen counters and stove top first. Oh wow, the smell was so invigorating! :) It didn't leave any film or sticky residue on the surfaces either which is VERY important. A lot of products do leave a residue which makes the surface look unclean! My stove top was sparkling and my countertops were squeaky clean! AWESOME!
I also used this product in our bathrooms (all of them) to clean the sinks, showers/tubs, and faucets. The smell lingered in the bathrooms for quite awhile so thankfully it was a scent that I liked. I was impressed how sparkly the chrome faucets looked after cleaning them with this product. They were like shiny little mirrors! The cleanser does go a long way and I found that you actually needed very little to get the surfaces super clean. Just be sure to shake up the bottle as directed before using it for optimal results. I am definitely going to buy this product again and would love to try some of the other products in the line, as well. If you are a fan of lemon Pine-sol, you should really like the scent of this product, too! The cleaning ability was great and didn't leave behind any nasty residue. Two thumbs up from me!
